26/04/12: Fund Match

Thanks to one of our Loyal Volunteers and her Husband. Barclay's bank matched the amount raised at the Ladies Pamper Evening, so this means that the event raised over £1000.

Thank you to them both for making this happen.

26/04/12: Fundraising

In the last 4 months we have held 3 additional fundraising events. These have taken the form of 2 Craft and Gift Fairs, which have taken place at St Mary's Church Hall, Sandbach. These have both been very successful for the Charity in raising awareness and funds.
The other event was a Ladies Pamper Evening held at Bradwall Village Hall, this was an amazing night for all.

All of which we hope to do again, as they raised much needed funds for the Charity.

26/04/12: NEW HOME FOR CATS

We are pleased to announce that we moved into our new premises at the end of August 2011, after it being converted for purpose which took some months to do.
The building can now hold a number of cats, all of which have their own pen with bedding shelf and a higher shelf that they use as a watch tower to survey their surroundings.
It is also our hope to have made it possible for the cats to have some form of outside excerise area, that will be accessible by a cat flap from the cat room.
The new cattery also contains a kitchen which makes being able to keep the cat room clean alot easier, this contains two sinks for hygiene purposes. There is also a fully functioning bathroom and a staff room.

19/03/10: A happy and contented Fleur - re-homed Nov 2009

Fleur was re-homed by Sandbach Animal Rescue in November 2009 and her new owner has written to tell us how she is doing settling into her new home.

'Fleur has been with us since November last year and is flourishing. She has settled into her new home really well and has added cheeky to her already existing qualities of adorable and affectionate. She's brilliant with the children who, in return, love her to bits. She's always available for a cuddle or a sit on someone's knee and has turned out to be the best kitchen footballer in the household! It feels as though we've always had her and we couldn't manage without her now.

She's enjoying the fresh air in the garden and is an accomplished hunter - local rodent population watch out! She's filled out a bit (if you remember she was very thin) and is looking in tip top condition (we are ridiculously proud of this and take it as a sign that she is contented). She likes to accompany the children part way to school - just to make sure they are alright and is usually outside waiting for them to come home, which they love of course.

There's only one mystery - we knew she wouldn't like the Hoover but what is it about the ironing board that is so scary?

We are delighted with her and she is very much part of the family.
