  <title>19/03/10: A happy and contented Fleur - re-homed Nov 2009</title>
  <link>http://www.sandbachanimalrescue.co.uk/news.asp?nid=5</link>
<description>Fleur was re-homed by Sandbach Animal Rescue in November 2009 and her new owner has written to tell us how she is doing settling into her new home.

'Fleur has been with us since November last year and is flourishing. She has settled into her new home really well and has added cheeky to her already existing qualities of adorable and affectionate. She's brilliant with the children who, in return, love her to bits. She's always available for a cuddle or a sit on someone's knee and has turned out to be the best kitchen footballer in the household! It feels as though we've always had her and we couldn't manage without her now.

She's enjoying the fresh air in the garden and is an accomplished hunter - local rodent population watch out! She's filled out a bit (if you remember she was very thin) and is looking in tip top condition (we are ridiculously proud of this and take it as a sign that she is contented). She likes to accompany the children part way to school - just to make sure they are alright and is usually outside waiting for them to come home, which they love of course.

There's only one mystery - we knew she wouldn't like the Hoover but what is it about the ironing board that is so scary?

We are delighted with her and she is very much part of the family.

  <link>http://www.sandbachanimalrescue.co.uk/news.asp?nid=3</link>
<description>Although the Society has had to close the cattery we are still caring for a number of cats and kittens.

We are also looking for new premises and when these have been found the Society will need to ensure that there are sufficient funds available to secure the future of the cattery.

Therefore we ask that you continue to support Sandbach Animal Rescue by attending our monthly Charity Markets, making a donation via our collecting boxes or via paypal on our website.</description>
